Batty Fang is the creation of entrepreneur Zach Neil, who is known for creating immersive entertainment experiences, pop up hospitality events and for being a motivator, business adviser, best selling author, celebrity chef and creative director. Zach is the creator of the Beetle House franchise dubbed “the happiest scary place in the world”. Zach’s events and companies are consistently inclusive and inviting to all, and have become known as safe spaces for the abstract, artists and LGBTQ.
Using the same approach Zach wanted to create a salon experience that would challenge the current standards and norms, to elevate the perception of beauty and to provide a place where people can “get the cuts and styles they actually want.”
“When I was a kid it was impossible to find a hair salon that dealt with alternative colors, manic panic or would know how to give you proper punk rock haircut. Batty Fang is my answer to that problem.”
To round out the team at location number one, Zach partnered with long time friend and creative partner Josh Balz who is known for his time as a musician in the band Motionless In White as well as being the creator of The Strange and Unusual Oddities Parlor. Josh has been on the forefront of alternative expression and fashion for many years. His personal looks have been celebrated around the world and his unique image and style lent its self to the look and feel of Batty Fang.
Providing the master level experience in hair design, color and style is Tatum Neiderhiser who brings more than 20 years of hands on experience in beauty. Her expertise in cut and color is second to none. Her long background history in owning and operating salons has given Batty Fang a competitive edge being able to provide standard services and cutting edge services under the direction of a seasoned professional who knows her stuff.
